What businesses offer Local Food Delivery with DinnerBell?

DinnerBell works exclusively with locally owned businesses known as DinnerBell Affiliates. All DinnerBell Affiliates must have a relationship with DinnerBell before they are added to the DinnerBell Platform for customers. That means you’ll never find an out of state franchise or a corporate, nationwide chain anywhere on the DinnerBell Platform. We never offer a business’ merchandise without their knowledge or permission. A full list of affiliates is available Here.

When are DinnerBell services available?

DinnerBell’s regular On-Demand Local Food Delivery services are available Wednesday – Sunday, 3:30pm – 8pm all year round! We are closed on all major holidays, because we believe everyone should be able to Eat Dinner as a Family and Save Room for Dessert. How long does a delivery typically take?

A typical On-Demand Delivery takes 30 – 50 minutes, however, individual order times can vary based on distance, order size, vehicle traffic, road conditions, and Affiliate in-house traffic. 

What is the Green Delivery Opt-In Program?

When you select the Green Delivery Opt-In Program at checkout, you give us permission to delay the processing of your order for up to 1 hour, and deliver it within 2 hours of placing your order. This allows us to place, pick up, and deliver orders in more efficient routes. This completely optional opt-in program supports our efforts to reduce net CO2 emissions, wear on vehicles, stress on restaurants, and driving times for our drivers while delivering local food.

What is Contactless Delivery?

Selecting Contactless Delivery at checkout tells the driver that you would like your food placed outside your door, or in another specified area that you can write in the comments section. When Contactless Delivery is selected, the driver will put the food in the designated drop off area, knock or ring the doorbell, and then leave. If you would like the driver to call or text you when they drop off your food, please also note this in the comments section.

What forms of payment do you accept?/Do you take cash on delivery?

DinnerBell currently takes all major credit and debit card providers via Paypal Invoice as means of payment. As a third party, we have no means of accepting cash payments for On-Demand Delivery Orders, but drivers can accept cash tips – thank you for your understanding! 

What happened to DinnerBell Points?

DinnerBell Points were our way of thanking our loyal supporters of local business by giving back 2% of each purchase made through our platform as store credit. DinnerBell Points could be earned and redeemed with all of our affiliates allowing you to save money on local food delivery you already enjoy! For every $1 spent on the DinnerBell platform, you got 20 points back to you on our last website version, that‘s 2% back in delicious! 1000 points could be redeemed for $1 worth of merchandise. If you had DinnerBell Points before our Website Update, and would like to utilize that balance, please call our Dispatcher at 231-465-5288 during Delivery Hours to have them credited to your order! With this new site update, we do not currently have a way to continue our Points Program going forward, HOWEVER, we are actively looking for a new solution to give you Rewards!

How much does the DinnerBell platform cost for restaurants?

The DinnerBell platform is offered completely free to local owned and operated businesses as part of our commitment to support Local economic growth.
